ELITE BIM and Energy Efficiency Event

On 8th June 2017 ESP and Energy Links and Integration Tools for Efficiency (ELITE) held a partnership multiplier event in Fife to allow colleges, partner representatives and external stakeholders to meet and exchange information about their professional practices that are relevant to energy efficiency in buildings using Building information modelling (BIM) tools.

Erasmus + Winds and Tides project showcased at Seanergy in France

Energy Skills Partnership (ESP) have been working with partners from France (Normandy) and Knarvik Vidaregåande Skule, Norway to work with companies to develop three new Wind and Marine Renewables modules that will be offered to colleges and organisations as CPD courses as part of an Erasmus+ project.

SMART Metering

Through employer engagement ESP established and facilitated a SMART Metering Skills Action Group with key industry partners and relevant colleges to develop solutions to meet this demand. ESP are working with the Skills Action Group to identify future regional demand and will work with further colleges and industry to establish appropriate provision.

Erasmus + Winds and Tides Guidebook Launched

Energy Skills Partnership (ESP) have been working with partners from France (Normandy) and Norway to promote careers in the marine renewables energy sector as part of the Erasmus+ Winds and Tides project.

The BLOODHOUND Project is using a 1,000mph world land speed record attempt to inspire the next generation to get involved in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
 

ESP Annual Report 2015 - 16

The ESP 2015-2016 Annual Report is now available and shows another very successful year working in collaboration with member colleges and partners across Scotland.

Automotive Training Network

The Automotive Training Network was established at an initial meeting in April 2016. An action plan of priorities for the group of 13 colleges has been established with Hybrid training and MOT commercial opportunities high on the list.
